EXOCOAT 143 is very hydrophiid (contact angle >105 degree), oleophobic, heat resistant (up to 600 degrees C) and abrasion resistant coating.

Non-stick, Repellent with Strong Substrate Bonding
EXOCOAT 143 is an inorganic nano-resin, and it is capable of bonding to various substrates. It uses non-stick polymer coating that can be applied on various surfaces such as Steel, Aluminum, Glass and Plastics (PC, PMMA and ABS).
It can also be applied onto previous coating layers.
EXOCOAT 143 is also 100% adhesive to metal, glass, plastics (ISO2409: 0).
Hydrophobic and Oleophobic
EXOCOAT 143 can function as stand-alone resin at a layer thickness of 0.5 to 2 μm to form a durable finish that is easy to clean, very hydrophobic (contact angle >105°C) and oleophobic.
It has a Hydrophobicity of CA to Water: 120°, and Oleophobicity of CA to HD: 60°C
Application and Storage
EXOCOAT 143 may be used as a stand alone product or diluted in other chemicals such as butyl acetate and applied as a thin polished ceramic coating.
However, it is advised to not apply a dry film layer of more than 25 μm as cracking may occur.
EXOCOAT 143 has a shelf life of 12 months, which should be kept well-closed but ventilated once every month to reduce pressure. Prolonged storage may cause product to build up pressure.
