Exocoat 151A is a hydrophilic photo catalytic nano-titanium oxide coating. This enhances water-sheeting, also called wash off effect. Its low activation barrier functions under visible light and can be used on flat surfaces.
EXOCOAT 151A (by Axcentive) is a Nano-titanium dioxide (TiO2) product distributed in Singapore with a strong self cleaning performance.
It uses photocatalytic Nano titanium dioxide (Nano-technology) to render substrates into self-cleaning. The photocatalytic effect helps breaks down dirt, soil and airborne particles.
EXOCOAT 151A functions under visible light and works best on Solar panels as smart coatings.

EXOCOAT 151A is a doped Nano-Titanium dioxide with a strong self-cleaning performance.
It offers Self Cleaning and Antimicrobial Treatment/Coatings that can be used on Solar Panels as it cures under UV light. Due to its photocatalytic effect, the effective radical formation breaks down organic matter like dirt and soil. Airborne particles like VOCs, NOx and microbes are also eradicated by EXOCOAT 151A.
Water Sheeting
EXOCOAT 151A coated walls are super-hydrophilic enhancing the water-sheeting, also called wash off effect. As it has a very low activation barrier, it functions under visible light.
It is essential for EXOCOAT 151A to be used as topcoat to ensure its full effect, as its effectivity is based on radical eradication of all organic components as well as NOx
Application and Storage
EXOCOAT 151A may be used on flat surfaces such as plastics or coated substrates (preferably interior). Spray application is recommended to reach, thin monolayers which proves to be more effective.
It can also be stored for 12 months in original container between 5-45° Celsius, under dark condition.
